This new Ballet Class album is based on Chopin's music. Although Chopin never composed a ballet, his music was largely used and choreographed in the ballet world. Beautiful examples are the ballets "Lady of the Camellias" and "Les Sylphides". This playlist gives to the dancer and the teacher the opportunity to know better one of the major classical composers by listening to his beautiful nocturnes, preludes, waltzes, ballades and many other works. Music has been chosen and played in order to be as close as possible to the original, as unfortunately, to match the counts rhythms and requirements of the ballet class, music is often rearranged and cut wildly. Being musical is one of the most important skills of a dancer, and I hope Chopin's music will trigger your musicality and musical knowledge.
